Sonja Johnson was born in Denmark, and she moved to Anaheim CA in 1996.  Sonja worked in healthcare and photography, with her inspiration coming from nature.  She started with a lot of black and white old film photography, and then moved into 

digital with a focus on sunrise and sunset photos.

Sonja has displayed her art in galleries in Orange County, San Luis Obispo, 

Palm Springs CA, and Bullhead City AZ; and she is now a member of the Boulder City Art Guild.  When Sonja moved to Henderson NV in 2015, she started creating watercolor and 

acrylic paintings, greeting cards, 3 D arts and rock painting.

Now retired, Sonja attends classes at the Senior Center in Henderson, and enjoys learning new art projects and participating in a writers group.
